We created Cookening in order to let anyone organize or take part in meals at a local’s home all around the world. We believe this is a great way for travelers to discover new flavours and meet people.
I co-founded Cookening with Cédric Giorgi (CEO) and Sébastien Guignot (CTO). In september 2013 we acquiered one of our main french competitor : Beyond Croissant.
“Can you trust and share dinner with someone you have never met before?” This is one of the main questions we had to answer.
We created our profile page with features that wipe out any possible doubts or mistrust: they allow you to check email addresses and phone numbers, connect to social networks, display your common interest and your reputation on the platform.
